Aluminum Oxide Sanding Bands 1/2″ x 1/2″-60 to 600 Grit-Packs of 10

Description

Sold in Packs of 10-3M Aluminum Oxide Abrasives are made of high-grade mineral and a bonding system that reduces shelling of the mineral. These economical 1/2″ diameter x 1/2″ long abrasives from Foredom are excellent for fast clean-up and pre-polishing work. Use with 1/2″ diameter rubber sanding drum mandrels (available with either 3/32″ or 1/8″ diameter shafts) see below. To install, slip band on to rubber drum with screw loose. When band is in position, tighten the screw, which expands the rubber drum, for a secure hold. Made in the USA.
Max Speed: 40,000 RPM (optimal speed is between 25% to 50% of maximum rpm)
