Foredom’s versatile Angle Grinder is a compact, lightweight and easy to manage attachment for working on virtually any material with 2″and smaller accessories. The quality machined Angle Grinder will allow you to polish, grind and sand metal, wood, stone, acrylic, composites, glass, plastics, ceramics. bondo. fiberglass, rubber and more using most Foredom power flex shaft machines and a H.30* handpiece. We recommend the Foredom Series TX or TXH as the optimum motor for use with the Angle Grinder, although the SR motor is also a good choice, as long as the SR motor is operated in the standard forward rotation. . You can also use the 2″ Angle Grinder with a Foredom flexade with a #30 handpiece.
The great thing about the Angle Grinder is that is allows you to use larger format tools than you may not normally find yourself using with just a H.30 handpiece alone. You also can quickly and easily bring these relatively larger grinding and polishing tools to hard to reach areas. Now instead of wishing you could figure out a way to get an item to your bench polisher, you can bring your polisher right to the item!

The maximum flex shaft motor speed that should be used with the Foredom 2″ Angle Grinder is 18,000 RPM, and only for short intervals. The Foredom 2″ Angle Grinder runs at a .75 to 1 gear reduction. For example, a Foredom SR motor has a maximum speed of 18,000 RPM that will produce 13,500 RPM rotation on the Angle Grinder, a Foredom TX motor has a maximum speed of 15,000 RPM that will produce 11,250 RPM on the Angle Grinder.
