Glardon Vallorbe makes many different Flat Gravers in High Speed Steel (HSS) and Carbon Steel. These are the Glardon-Vallorbe LO0401 HSS traditional gravers that will require shaping and fitting into a handle before use. High Speed Steel is harder than carbon steel and will hold an edge longer and require less sharpening when working with most metals.

Glardon-Vallorbe Swiss Made Gravers are made by Usines Metallurgiques de Vallorbe SA (UMV) of Vallorbe Switzerland. Previously branded as Grobet gravers in the USA, these gravers are now being sold under the factory brand name Glardon-Vallorbe, the same brand name used throughout the rest of the world. Jewelers and stonesetters everywhere appreciate the consistent quality and perfect temper of these precision made gravers.
