Description
This soldering station with two short 3rd hands has the same size soldering board surface, 6″ x 6″ (152mm x 152mm) as the 104.570. Unlike the 104.570, this board does not mount to the GRS fixed mounting plate, but is for use on top of a workbench or soldering table only. Overall size of the soldering station is 9″ x 7-1/2″. The short 3rd hands are 5″ tall when fully extended. The short 3rd hands are available separately (104.646) and use the same parts as the standard 3rd hands from GRS. The bottom of the station has 4 rubber mounted feet, and because of that, this soldering station is not recommended for use with high temperature platinum work.
