This is a 2″ diameter by 1/4″ thick silicon carbide grinding wheel with a 1/4″ lead center for grinding mild steel and soft metals such as copper, bronze gold and silver. The 1/4″ diameter lead center is for use with a standard tapered spindle. The taper spindle in the photograph is sold separately and is for scale and illustration purpose only. Do not exceed 8500 RPM. Always wear eye protection.
